
A classic, juicy meatloaf paired with buttery, velvety mashed potatoes—pure comfort on a plate!
For the Meatloaf:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, until cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Meanwhile, boil potatoes until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Serve slices of meatloaf with a generous scoop of mashed potatoes.
